then this journey is for you.
Find Your Flow BOTANICALS begins January 7th and runs through February 5th.
Daily inspirational videos by world-renowned botanical illustrator Wendy Hollender to guide you each step of the way in practicing the basics of drawing realistic botanical subjects (lifetime access).
An electronic PDF copy of the book Botanical Drawing: A Beginner’s Guide for comprehensive coverage of Wendy’s techniques and inspiration during the 30 days and beyond.
Membership in the private Find Your Flow BOTANICALS Facebook group for daily connection with fellow creatives and support from your Journey Guides.
A Get Ready For Your Journey Packet that includes a Find Your Flow Calendar, Planning Worksheet and introductory videos to help you prepare for your Journey and stay on track during the 30 days.
The 30 Day Botanical Journey is a celebration of the 10th anniversary of Wendy Hollender’s book, “Botanical Drawing: A Beginner’s Guide.” The Journey will be structured around lessons from the book as we draw together and build a daily drawing routine.
Each day you’ll receive an inspirational video that takes you through a step-by-step process for learning simple techniques that work to make your drawings realistic and accurate. Day by day you’ll be guided to reveal nature’s beauty on paper.
To get the most out of the daily teachings, it’s recommended that you commit to a minimum of 30 minutes of drawing a day. Be warned! This practice can become addictive. Students describe these techniques as falling in love and become completely obsessed with this practice.
Wendy will recommend supplies and methods to use on your journey.
What’s important is to follow along, commit for 30 days, and experience what it feels like to Find Your Flow.
“My “Find Your Flow” experience was so helpful to my art practice. I have been a professional artist for over 30 years, and, although I am very self-motivated and disciplined, joining the “Find Your Flow” group was the reinvigoration that I needed. It provided the means to a more regimented focus on my creative practice, with many helpful tools that encouraged me to see what I was really accomplishing. Just what I wanted! ”
– Diana Dunkley
“My experience with the Find Your Flow program was life-altering. I know it might seem dramatic to say something like “life-altering,” and yet, there really is no other way to describe it. Each and every day we were supported by comments and encouragement on what we were doing which was invaluable. Then there was the group of wonderful artists – some beginning like me, some experienced – who supported each other in such amazing ways through all the ups and downs of trying to implement a daily creative practice. But, it was the completion of the program that changed my life so dramatically. I finally, for the first time in a very, very long time, finished something, and it was because I had been encouraged and supported in a safe environment where it was okay to spread my artistic wings.”
– Sarah Joyce Bryant
“The Botanical Drawing experience was all I had hoped for. The quality of my art has improved and drawing has finally become an integral part of my daily life (and not just something I kept meaning to do). The videos, print lessons, assignments, and feedback all combined to provide the right level of instruction and motivation.”
– Marjorie Webb
